In addition to the ant race, the Antuk, there are four more insect types that you can play with, such as cricket, moth, mantis, and beetle. They all have their own in-game name, lore, motivations, population sizes, and characteristics… you name it. In this insect-filled, civil war-ravaged world, the players guide their people toward Khoom, vanquish the Amukras and their armies, and then annihilate the ferocious boss Amoik to liberate the Khoom energy from her control. Players need to gather heroes and troops among the insect races to achieve this challenging mission. Each of these heroes and troops from the insect races is modeled after real-life bugs, and each species differs in personality and size. For example, the Antuk, the ant-inspired race, has massive numbers in the population, while the Mantah, the mantis-inspired race, has a low population.
Maybe we hadn’t noticed any difference when we encountered an insect in nature, but insects too are different from each other, just like us humans! In Ookeenga, each character comprises five features: body, class, rarity, body parts, and race. The bugs have a distinctive phenotypic and strength, thanks to these features with a potential of jaw-dropping 80 million different possible character combinations!
Ookeenga uses two cryptocurrencies, OKG and KAB, for different purposes. OKG is the governance token of the game and has a supply limit. Players need OKG tokens to buy, sell, trade NFTs, breed, or enhance particular items. In addition, players can use OKG tokens for staking, renting, and purchasing limited edition NFTs through periodic sales. This token will be used to reward players for their success in tournaments or special events. On the other hand, the KAB token is the game’s in-game currency without a supply limit. This token can be used for in-game features such as breeding heroes, enhancing items, and crafting new equipment.
